Twice!” – Perez Hilton EMI Music Canada will release Kylie Minogue's massively acclaimed ‘Aphrodite - Les Folies', filmed live at London's O2 Arena last April, on CD, DVD, Blu-ray and audio digital download on November 29th. The tour was Kylie's most ambitious and spectacular to date and the DVD footage, filmed over 2 nights, captures the show at its absolute peak. Directed by William Baker and Marcus Viner, all formats also feature an exclusive tour documentary. The ultra theatrical tour that was devised with Kylie's creative director William Baker, concluded on July 14 th , 2011 in South Africa after performing a total of 77 spectacular shows to an audience in excess of 575,000 people throughout Europe, Japan, North America, Australia and Southeast Asia. The elaborate production visited 55 cities in 27 countries in 150 days on the road. With costumes created exclusively for Kylie by Dolce & Gabbana, the stage show followed an enchanting Greek mythology theme, and featured an astonishing water finale. This was a show that truly redefined what a pop concert could be. Now Canadian fans can re-live the experience with this amazing 2-hour document, which includes all of Kylie's best-known modern hits including “Can't Get You Out Of My Head,” “Spinning Around” and “Love At First Sight” as well as her four Billboard Club Chart toppers from 2010's acclaimed album ‘Aprodite;' “All The Lovers,” “Get Outta My Way,” “Better Than Today” and “Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love.” Kylie was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame at the 25th annual Australian awards ceremony on Sunday night. She has earned 16 ARIA awards over her lengthy career, told the audience she was "a very proud Australian." September 12 2011 : Kylie's fantastic concert Les Folies which was filmed in London is getting a 3D theatrical release in cinemas across the UK and Europe in September, for us fans in Canada and the USA we will have to wait for the DVD release in November. Aphrodite Les Folies - Live In London will be released in 3D on Blu- Ray only. 2 Special edition (non-3D) are being released on DVD which also comes with a 2 CD set, more info to come. August 25th 2011 : "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)" top the Billboard's Dance Club Play Songs making it the 4th single from her album Aphrodite to hit #1, her 5th in a row counting her duet Higher with Taio Cruz, and her 8th #1 overall on this chart. Kylie's North American leg of her 2011 World Tour starts April 28th in Montreal and closes May 22nd at the legendary Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas . American Express pre-sale goes on sale January 14th at 10:00 AM . Public on sale Saturday January 22nd at 10:00AM . Only one date in Canada is a bit disappointing we are hoping she adds some dates for Toronto and Vancouver . The water element (Splash Zone) will not be a part of the U.S. staging as the U.S. leg plays in smaller venues and will be a more intimate production than the arena shows in Europe.
