Come into my world December 10 2002:
"Come into my world" made it's debut on Billboard's Hot
100 at # 98. Here in Canada the single has made 2 chart entries, the domestic
version entered at # 15 on the sales chart as well and the Import CD 1
version at # 48. November 19 2002: "Come into my world" made it's debut on the Australian charts at # 4 making it the first time she has had 4 top 5 hits from one album on the Australian charts. In the UK the song entered the charts at # 8. Kylie won 2 awards at the Europe MTV awards in Barcelona, Best dance act and Best pop act.
Come
into my world Canadian release Fever has been certified Platinum in the US that means 1million copies has been shipped to stores with sales of over 800 000. Kylie will be taking part of the"Jingle ball" Christmas concert tour of the US. The dates so far are: Dec 11 Lowell, MA

Arena - KISS 108 Note: this is not the Fever tour. Kylie will be performing with various artist including Destiny's Child, Avril Lavigne, and Mariah Carey. 15 2002: Kylie wins 5 awards
at the Aria's New
edition of FEVER released in Canada "FEVER" has sold over 4.7 million copies worldwide 180,000 in Canada alone. After winning the award for award for
best choreography for "Can't get you out of my head" at the
VMA's (video music awards), Kylie is also nominated for 4 MTV Europe Video
Awards. Best Album - Fever, Best Female, Best Dance, Best Pop. The
awards will be presented in Barcelona, Spain on the 14th of November. The month of November will see many releases. In the UK the single "Come into my world" will hit the stores in the on the 4th. The Madonna track "Alone again " will now not be included, to see the tracklisting click here. On the 11th "Fever" will be re-released with a second bonus disc containing 7 tracks including remixes. KylieFever2002 - Live In Manchester will be released on VHS and DVD by EMI Canada on the 12th, and by Capitol/EMI in the US on the 19th. It will also include a 30 minute documentary. There will be an international limited edition which will include a 72 minutes live CD. (It is unsure if North America will get the limited edition). On the 18th Jive records in North America, will re-released PWL's "Kylie's Greatest Hits" from 1992 on CD, VHS, and DVD. The tracklisting is rumoured to have some added features. "Love at first sight" reached it's peak in the US at # 23 on Billboard Hot 100 (for the week ending 07/09/02). In Canada the song fell to # 12 only to bounce back at # 10 (for the week ending 03/09/02) on the official airplay chart. August 22 2002: CHART NEWS "Love at first sight" breaks into the Canadian top ten airplay chart moving from # 14 to # 10 (for the week ending 22/08/02).The single holds still on the sales charts at # 11, and the album "Fever" moves back up to # 20 (for the week ending 18/08/02). In the USA the single moves from # 30 to # 25 on Billboards Hot 100 (for the week ending 31/08/02), while the album moves from # 75 to # 72.Madonna has written or given (depending on whom you believe) a song for Kylie called "Alone again". The track is already recorded and is scheduled to be the double A-side with "Come into my world". The single should be released in October/November. Kylie has reciprocated (although not for Madonna) by writing a track called "Feels so good" for Atomic Kitten's next album due in September. Kylie is headed to the US after finishing up her "Fever" tour in Australia. She will be doing what she calls a radio roadshow in 6 cities. At this date it is unknown if it is promotion or actual concerts. She will also be presenting an award at the MTV video awards on August 29th. August 08
2002: "Love
at first sight" is blasting up the US Billboard top 100 charts. After
moving from # 59 to # 49 it moves up 18 notches to Kylie has confirmed that her next international single will be a double A-side. It is rumoured to be a new remixed version of "Come into my world". The other side will most likely be a new song which she is now recording. The single will be released at the end of October. July 14 2002: "Love at first sight" moves back up the Canadian singles sales chart at # 7, and moves from # 51 to # 35 on the airplay chart (for the week ending 09/07/02). The album "Fever" falls 4 notches to # 24 on the Canadian top 200. July 11 2002: Kylie's "Love at first sight" tops the Dance/Club play charts in the USA at # 1. On Billboards HOT 100 the song moves up from # 83 to # 78 (for the week ending 20/07/02). On the Canadian front the song falls to # 13 after spending 2 weeks at # 5 on the sales singles chart, and it makes it debut at # 81 on the airplay chart, the album "Fever" moves back up to # 20 (for the week ending 30/06/02).Kylie is slated to appear on the Jay Leno show Friday July 12th, and on Live with Regis and Kelly on July 16th. On July 17th she will appear on MTV Total request live and Last Call with Carson Daly on July the 18th. June

"Love
at first sight" debut at # 2 on the UK charts (for the week ending
16/06/02) only to be beaten by the late Elvis Presley with the JLX remix
of "A Little Less Conversation." In Canada the single made an
amazing debut at # 5 on the singles sales chart. In the US the song has
moved from # 12 to # 7 on the Dance/Club play chart and made it's entry
on Billboards HOT 100 at June
8 2002: In
Canada "Fever" and the "In your eyes" import singles
continue to hover in the top 20. On the airplay charts the song hit the
# 1 spot on both french Montreal stations CKOI and CKMF. Dissapointment
on the national airplay chart as the single falls from it's debut of #
27 to # 30. The US and the rest of the world is getting ready for the
next single "Love at first sight" (for
tracklisting click here). A new Kylie song "Whenever
you feel like it" appears on the "Scooby
Doo" soundtrack, the song is co-written by Kylie, Rick Nowels,
and Billy Steinberg.The "Fever" tour will finally make it's
way to Australia in August/September, where she will so far, play one
date in Sydney and 2 in Melbourne. Rumours persist that the show will
go to North America, however she is supposed to come over to this side
of the world to do some promotional appearances soon. May 1 2002: Fever continues to sell incredibly well in Canada, it finally breaks into the top 10 on the Canadian album chart. Kylie kicked off her europeen tour on the 26th of April in Cardiff, the tour ends in Spain on the 20th of June. Kylie was plagued with a throat infection but refused to cancel any shows. It is reported that she is now almost fully recovered, and in top form. The Manchester show on the 4th of May will be filmed and presented as a webcast online check here for details. The next US single is confirmed to be "Love at first sight", it will also include the Blue Monday mix of "Can't get you out of my head", the release date for the US and Europe has yet to be determined. April 14 2002: "In your eyes" Part 1&2 resurfaces on the Canadian Singles chart at # 19 on import sales. In Quebec the song hits the top ten at # 8 on both french radio stations CKOI and CKMF. The album "Fever" hangs around in the top 20 at # 17 after peaking at # 11. Let's hope that with the new single it will break the top 10. In the USA "Fever" falls to # 25. There are many rumours floating around the net that says, "Love at first sight" will be the next US single and not "In your eyes". April 6 2002: While "Fever slips to # 17 in the US, it is still selling well and has just been certified "Gold" selling 500 000 copies. In Canada the album has gone Platinum selling over 100 000. "In your Eyes" is moving up the charts on french radio in Montreal. On CKOI it moves from # 19 to # 14 and CKMF it moves from # 16 # 15. The song debuts on Vancouver's Z95.3 at # 30. 24 2002: The album "Fever"
hit's another peak position in Canada at # 12. "Can't get you out
of my head" falls to # 7 on JAM's airplay chart while "In your
eyes" import CD's 1&, falls on the single chart to # 26. March 15 2002: "Can't
get you out of my head" move up to # 7 on BIllboard's
HOT 100. The album "Fever" spends a second week in the US
top 10, but drops to # 9,it is still however selling impressively. On
Saturday 16th Kylie will appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night
Live, with host Ian Mckellen. She will also appear on MTV spring break.
In Canada "In your eyes part" 1&2 continues selling and
moves back up to # 21 on the Singles
sale chart, and "Can't get you out of my head" falls to
# 6 on the Jam music chart. The album "Fever" moves back up
to # 16 nationally, the highest position so far. In other cities across
Canada, Toronto # 8, March 7 2002: Just incredible, the album "Fever" debut at # 3 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart, selling 114 728 copies in one week.To think a month ago Kylie was almost unknown. The single moves up to # 10 on the HOT 100, making it her first US top ten in 14 years. In Canada the song has spent 7 weeks at # 1 on the radio CHR charts, and has moved back up to # 4 (from # 5 after peaking at # 3) on the JAM music charts. On the singles chart the import copy of "In your Eyes" part 1&2 has dropped to # 31, which was expected after initial sales orders. The album "Fever" drops to # 21 from # 19 nationally. |
