December 7th 2009: New audio release from Kylie.com A shame none of the shows were filmed for a DVD but at least we get a consolation prize... note this is a digital release only no CD is being produced. Kylie.com is pleased to announce the release of Kylie's new live album 'KYLIE LIVE IN NEW YORK' on December 14th on Parlophone Records! The album, recorded on the last date of her North American tour this year at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, will be exclusively available as a download. And that's not all, we're extremely excited to announce that fans will be able to listen to the first half of the New York concert pre-release, exclusively on YouTube from Midnight December 12 at Kylie's YouTube click here for the tracklist Kylie Tours North America
Words cannot describe how incredible the NYC concerts were
October 10th 2009: Kylie rocked Canada on her first ever Canadian concert last night at the Air Canada center. After the success with "Your Disco Needs You" in Chicago she added it to her setlist this time with the whole band. Read some of the reviews below. Thanks to Toronto Michael & KKTO from Say Hey for the pics. It was strange not being in Canada to see Kylie but I opted to see her in NYC for 2 shows instead. I'll post all the details when I get back on Wednesday. October 9th 2009: During a small technical glitch at the Chicago show Kylie took a request and sang an impromptu acappella rendition of Your Disco Needs You with the whole audience singing in. I can't think of many artists that would do that, check it out here . Can we have a technical glitch in NYC as well. Before NYC Kylie is now in Canada getting ready for her first ever Canadian concert. I hope we can convince her to come back and play more cities. October 5th 2009: Great reviews are coming in from Kylie's Hollywood Bowl show (read reviews below). She replaced "The One" in her setlist with a Jazz/acapella version of "I Should Be So Lucky" October 4st 2009: Kylie played Las Vegas last night, and as a request sang an impromptu acapella version of Got To Be Certain Last minute venue changes for Chicago from Kylie.com Kylie's first ever show in Chicago this Wednesday October 7th is being moved at the last minute to the UIC Pavilion (University of Illinois at Chicago: 525 S Racine Ave., Chicago, IL 60607-3303)! The Spectacular, originally scheduled to be staged at the Congress Theatre, sold out months ago but the sheer scale of the production just won't fit into the Congress, necessitating the upgrade. The promoters apologize to any fans inconvenienced by this last minute change. The good news is that UIC Pavilion will showcase Kylie better. The downtown venue is more accessible for most fans and the move has created a release of additional tickets for those previously unable to get their order filled! All tickets purchased for the Congress Theatre show will be honored at UIC Pavilion. Newly opened tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets beginning today, Sunday, October 4, 2009, at 3p.m. CDT. Tickets will also be available at UIC Pavilion Box Office, on the day of show only, beginning at 6 p.m. October 1st 2009: Kylie rocked the Fox Theatre in Oakland California last night, the minute she set foot on stage tweets and picture came flooding through the internet on various Kylie blogs and forums. Kylie performs a bran new song (you can hear it here and a closer version here ) and an incredible set list. We can't wait to see her in NYC. |
